You are certainly thinking critically about things and making new connections all the time!  Two recent connections you made were so sweet and funny!  Charlie, you were tearing apart the newspaper and suddenly you stopped with a gasp!  (Your new favorite thing is doing a shocked gasp - you do this about 15 times a day!)  You gasped and held up in the air an advertisement of a shirtless, handsome, young model selling cologne, and you said "Papa! Papa! Papa!"  You were convinced this hunk was your papa!  Melted our hearts!

Fast forward 3 days...  Coralie, you opened up a card and insde was a $20 bill.  You held it up in the air too and your face was beaming!  "Poppy, Poppy!!!"  She was pointing to Andrew Jackson!  I laughed so hard I cried! When mimi, poppy, and papa heard the story, we all had a good laugh.  We decided President Jackson's hairdo is what created this connection.  For years we've told poppy to stop combing his hair straight back, but he never listened.  Coralie, you might have changed his mind! xoxo
